Built a small balloon sculpture to experiment with different twisting techniques. Didn't really have anything in mind when I started. Here's the result of about 3 hours of work.
Balluminescence, The Life and Death of, is a series of five sculptures of bioluminescent creatures to be constructed using only balloons and decorated with light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The sculptures will be installed in various buildings on the University of Chicago campus during spring of 2009.
